Schunk Benelux B.V., a subsidiary of the Schunk Group, offers problem solving for carbon and graphite products in mechanical and electrical applications.

In 1955 Schunk & Ebe Nederland N.V. combining trade and carbon brush manufacturing was founded. It has been one of the first foreign subsidiaries of the Schunk-Group. Due to the fast growing business in Rotterdam’s harbor area Schunk has decided to set up the branch nearby. The customers, like today, have asked for short delivery time, very often within hours. In the meantime Schunk-Rotterdam has been appointed to the so-called ‘Fast Order Shop’ for all companies within the Schunk-Group.

Schunk Benelux B.V. sells Schunk’s products in the Netherlands and Belgium. The multilingual employees have expertise in technology and service. The core business consists of the following products:

• carbon brushes (traction and industry)
• brush holder, brush rockers, flexible current connections, contacts and connection devices for electroplating technology as well as products for current transmission and earthing
• pantographs and collector strips
• all kind of carbon or graphite bearings (axial and radial), seal rings, pump components such as rotors and vanes
• engineering ceramics (silicon carbide and oxide ceramics)
• carbon fiber-reinforced carbon (CFRC, C/C) and graphite batch carriers for the heat treatment industry
• several high temperature applications, for instance, container glass industry; medical, measurement & analytical engineering; diamond sintering & continuous casting
• ultrasonic metal welding systems
